Why work for Flipstik?

When I launched my Kickstarter campaign back in 2018 I had no idea the journey I would be in for, the mistakes I would make, the people I would meet, or the success I would have. I started Flipstik on a dream that I could take a good Idea and turn it into a great multi-million-dollar business. Today I'm closer to that goal than ever before. From teaching myself to write a patent, to giving away Flipstiks at the super bowl, to having Snoop Dogg call me a "Branding Genius" , to making it all the way to Shark Tank... I hope you'll join us in our next chapter! I'm looking for go getters, self starters, dreamers, creators and anyone who wants to work for a growing company with great, loving, creative people. - Akeem

About Our Founder

Flipstik was developed and designed by Akeem Shannon, a St. Louis Native. Akeem Shannon studied Chemical Engineering at Howard University. Akeem had a successful career in the corporate space but found his calling in the startup space. Approximately, three years ago, weeks after leaving corporate America, Akeem came up with the idea for the Flipstik after a late-night call with his uncle, an engineer at NASA. About Our Product

Our namesake product “The Flipstik”, is a thin device that attaches to the back of your phone. It's customizable cover functions as a kickstand and our trademarked “Synthetic Setae” adhesive allows you to stick your phone to nearly any flat surface for hands free use! Plus, it’s reusable and washable 1000s of times! This enables handsfree selfies, zoom conferences, hands-free Youtube or Netflix viewing on planes and trains, and hands-free GPS use while in any vehicle. Akeem created his reusable “Synthetic Setae” adhesive from NASA research, based on the feet of geckos! It holds up to 2 lbs and can be cleaned with soap and water or alcohol pads.
